Your gift
will be shipped the same business day if we receive your order before
1pm Eastern Time (Monday through Friday). If it's
after 1pm Eastern Time and your gift needs to be rushed for the same
day, please

We
ship from Richmond, Virginia 23221. We
have found that USPS and FedEx are each at times the most reliable and cost effective option
available. We will choose the best option for each package that both
ensures the quickest delivery of your gift and that allows us to
continue offering the lowest shipping prices.
All
of our shipping options are guaranteed for on-time delivery. Please do
not count weekends for holidays as business days for shipping. Delivery guarantees do not include weather or circumstances beyond
carrier
control.

your convenience, we will hold a gift up to one month for delivery. Enter
your preferred date of delivery
on the order form and we'll estimate the best day to send out your
package. We
prefer gifts arrive earlier than later, so your package may arrive a day
early. We cannot guarantee an exact delivery date unless you choose an
upgraded shipping option.

We are unable to ship internationally at this time.

Your credit card is processed and charged immediately so that your

Sales
Tax
If
you're shipping a gift to Virginia, we have to collect 5% sales tax. A small
price to pay really for living in such a great state! Thanks for understanding.
Autographed
Book Plates
Some
of the authors of the books we select have been kind enough to
sign book plates for us to include with their books. Book plates
are square stickers with the words "Autographed Edition"
and room for the author to sign their name. They are affixed to
the title page inside the book. Autographed book plates make
our gifts more personal and the books a lovely collectible.

refund the full purchase price of the package. And even though it's the
thought that counts, we will happily, and discretely, exchange a gift

We are
extremely proud to note that we have NEVER even been asked for a refund or exchange
for one of our gifts for any reason aside from the rare but
occasional shipping carrier issue. We're

different collection we'll be happy to make the substitution as our
inventory allows.

perfection is always the goal... Unfortunately,
delivery carriers, suppliers, the weather (and...sigh...even we) are not
perfect, and occasionally there are times when we have to make
substitutions to ensure your gift goes out on time. Items
will only be substituted (and only when absolutely necessary) with gifts
that are similar in cost and kind. Please know that we will
never compromise the "spirit" of your gift. In
our gifts for women this means that the book is the centerpiece of
your gift. If, for example, we needed to select a different CD to
replace Mozart for Morning Coffee, we would choose another
classical CD that was light and airy and would first look to
Mozart, but perhaps even another composer if that were the best
fit available. But we would never just throw in any old CD because
it happened to be handy. Promise. For
children's gifts, we make (again, only when absolutely necessary) alternative
selections based on the theme and age-appropriateness of your
gift. For instance, Angelina Ballerina (about a ballerina mouse)
would probably delight any little girl who would have enjoyed
Clorinda (about a ballerina cow). Have
